Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE initiated as an online port of Shin Megami Tensei NINE to PC, but became its own game. It is a free-to-play MMORPG set between the first and second Shin Megami Tensei games that features real-time combat instead of a turn-based system, but retains the demon recruitment and fusion mechanics from the series.
Its servers were closed in January 2014 (US) and May 2016 (JP), however it can still be played to this day via a private server.
